Migos have previously discussed their aims in getting into the film business by way of Quavo writing scripts, but the ambitious Atlanta trio is hoping to dive into one of Hollywood’s most beloved franchises. On Sunday (Nov. 5), Quavo tweeted to Disney that the company should cast Migos as the three mischievous hyenas in the upcoming live-action version of The Lion King.

“3 Hyenas Lions King call us,” Quavo tweeted, complete with an emoji of a phone. The tweet was retweeted over 35,0o00 times and liked over 60,000 times, with a couple of hundred replies since it went up.

Quavo also retweeted The Lion King‘s poster, perhaps hammering home his desire for his guys to get the role. Thus far, one of the roles of the original hyenas has already been cast. Florence Kasumba will voice Shenzi, who was played by Whoopi Goldberg in the original animated version. It appears that Eric Andre and Keegan-Michael Key will play the roles of new hyenas Azizi and Kamari respectively.

While it was looking like a longshot anyway, Donald Glover is in the film as the grown-up version of Simba, and the artist also known as Childish Gambino has featured Quavo, Offset, and Takeoff in his hit FX series, Atlanta.

If it could truly happen, the Migos would be set for life. Peep the tweets below and on the flip for some fan reactions.
