The Air Jordan 1 Top 3 Gold was supposed to be dropping at NikeLab in NYC as a Cyber Monday exclusive. But while hypebeasts lined up the night before, the cops deaded the situation when the crowd got too hectic in the SoHo neighborhood.
It went down Sunday night (Nov. 26), and the sneaker fiends never had a chance. The Nike Lab is situated at 21 Mercer Street, and as you can see in the video below, the crowd took over the entire sidewalk and went into the narrow street.
Said streets are already tight, so when cops saw people were holding up traffic, it was a wrap.
The Air Jordan 1 Top 3 Gold, which was originally touted as a ComplexCon exclusive, will not be dropping online (as of now), so good luck snagging a pair.
