Bun B Hosts Holiday Food Drive
Houston Hip-Hop artist and one half of the legendary UGK, Bun B, is set to host a Holiday food drive with help from wireless provider Boost Mobile.
The food drive will benefit the Houston Food Bank and from now until Dec. 18, twenty-two Boost mobile locations will serve as drop-off locations.
Visitors who drop off five or more cans of food will receive a free pair of tickets to Bun B’s concert at 9 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 18, at Warehouse Live in Houston.
Speaking on his latest strides to benefit the community, Bun B released a statement saying,
“Once again at this time of year, when so many are without the basic necessities of life, Boost Mobile and 2 Trill Entertainment are more than happy to recommit themselves to helping the Houston community.”
This is the second year Boost Mobile has partnered with Bun B for a holiday food drive.
In 2009, the effort produced more than 7,000 cans of food to donate to the Houston Food Bank.
