Heavyweight champion Mike Tyson is firing back at a man that claims he stole his “Iron Mike” nickname.
Tyson was originally sued by Michael “Iron Mike” Landrum for $115 million in December.
TMZ reports however that the boxing pro’s lawyers filed a motion to dismiss the trademark lawsuit, saying that it lacked merit on several levels—- including the fact that no one in their right mind would confuse a 58-year-old guy who last fought in 1985 … with “one of the most famous (if not the most famous) and recognizable boxers in history.”
Both Tyson and “Iron Mike” are due back in court on January 31.
