3. The J Misunderstanding
Rock says the misunderstanding about Jay-Z being on his album came when he stated that J (as in J. Cole) was going to be on his record at a listening party in New York. Everyone automatically assumed it was Jay-Z but alas it was not and Jay Rock wasn’t going to burst any bubbles before his album dropped.
