Police in New Mexico have a supermarket employee in custody after a woman claimed that he gave her a yogurt sample laced with semen.
An unidentified woman reported to police that she was given a Greek yogurt sample from Albuquerque’s Sunflower Market and immediately spit it out after noticing that it “tasted like sperm.”
The woman told management, who called police and arrested the employee, 31-year-old Anthony Garcia.
He was not arrested for the yogurt allegations however but because he had two outstanding bench warrants.
One of the warrants was filed in December for failure to appear for an arraignment.
The charges on the case included two counts of criminal sexual contact of a minor.
Garcia will not be charged until tests prove that the yogurt was tainted.
The test results are expected back in a few weeks.
