Dennis says when he used to play ball in college in Dallas, he was constantly being called “ni**er,” but the racism didn’t bother him because he hadn’t experienced it before. That changed when he began dating a white girl and living with a white family and some racists kidnapped him the girl and a little boy that was with them. After beating Dennis to a pulp and putting a shotgun to his head warning him to stay away from white women, Dennis saw how evil racism can be.
