Lil Wayne Sued For $20 Million By ‘Lollipop’ Producer
Lil Wayne is being sued for the fourth time in four years.
Darius Harrison, known as Deezle is a co-producer of the hit record, “Lollipop” and is now seeking $20 million in unpaid royalties.
Deezle also provided the backdrop for “Whip It,” “Prostitute 2,” and “Action,” as well as “Mrs. Officer” and “Let the Beat Build.”
The Carter III has sold more than 6 million copies and made over $70 million.
The Young Money CEO was sued by producer Bangledesh over unpaid royalties in 2007, for copyright infringement in 2009 and for canceling a series of US shows, also in 2009.
More recently, Jim Jonsin also a co-producer of “Lollipop” sought money from Wayne reported here.
Rapper, Dirahn Gilliams claimed that the producers and Wayne were responsible for copyright infringement for “Lollipop” and last year he filed a lawsuit as well.
