Lil Boosie Accused Of Trying To Get Codeine Into Angola

In an ironic twist, Lil Boosie is being charged by the Louisiana State Police while he’s in prison. The Baton Rouge rapper was allegedly trying to smuggle codeine syrup into the Louisiana State Penitentiary at Angola.

Boosie, whose real name is Torrence Hatch, is charged with two other suspects identified as Titus Franklin, 27, and Arthur Stewart, also 27.

Investigators said Stewart and Franklin made arrangements through an undercover agent to have the codeine delivered to Hatch, who is being held on the charge of first-degree murder in the death of Terry Boyd.
