Kelly Rowland Judging X-Factor UK
In addition to having a number one hit single, Kelly Rowland is adding X-Factor judge to her list of accolades.
The ex-Destiny’s Child star has been tapped to be the latest judge for Simon Cowell’s X-Factor U.K. after British singer Cheryl Cole was axed from the program.
Speaking on her new gig Rowland released a statement saying,
“The music coming out of the UK right now is incredible, with artists like Adele, Jessie J and James Blake, so I’m confident this season of The X Factor will give me opportunity to hear a few diamonds in the rough. Being a judge is never easy but I promise to be as sternly honest as I can and also encourage everyone who crosses the stage. I can’t wait to meet the world’s next superstar.”
In addition to Kelly, Louis Walsh, the only survivor from the 2010 panel, ‘Take That’ lead singer Gary Barlow and Hip-Hop star Tulisa Contostavlos will also be judges.
