Maino Announces Release Date For “The Day After Tomorrow”

After a brief hiatus, New York rapper Maino is getting prepared to release a new album on October 4th.

“My album is dropping October 4th, it’s called The Day After Tomorrow,” Maino said to Cheddar DVD. “We’re just getting ready for the second round.”

Maino recently released the album’s lead single, “Let Me Fly” featuring Roscoe Dash, and also has plans to release a new mixtape before his sophomore album hits stores.

“It took me a minute to get the right record out there, but it’s a national look for me. It’s not a local record,” Maino said. “It’s a big record, it’s gonna be. We just droppin’ this week and then we’re doing another mixtape, keep the streets down and staying on cheddar.”

Maino’s debut album, If Tomorrow Comes…, was released in June 2009, and featured the hit singles “Hi Hater” and “All The Above.”
