A Tribe Called Quest Movie Wins L.A. Film Festival Award

The critically acclaimed documentary directed by actor Michael Rapaport following the lives of A Tribe Called Quest was a hit at the Los Angeles Film Festival.

Beats, Rhymes & Life: The Travels of A Tribe Called Quest took home the Audience Award for Best Documentary Feature.

The lead rapper for the group, Q-Tip was the only member not in LA for the festival as he still has issues with the film.
