Leave it up to Snoog Dogg to drop a stone cold player’s anthem like “Do My Thang.” Yesterday, the legendary MC debuted a visual for the synth-heavy track from he and Dam Funk’s 2013 project, 7 Days of Funk.
The 7 Days of Funk train is officially here and it’s tearing roofs off buildings and flashing lights like a disco.
2013 gave fans a first class lesson on why Snoop Dogghas remained relevant throughout the years. Having already channeled his inner Rastafarian as Snoop Lion on Reincarnated, he returns today as Snoopzilla on a collaborative album with Dam-Funk called 7 Days Of Funk.
Never mind the shenanigans of Miley Cyrus. There were plenty of Hip-Hop exploits at the MTV EMA’s (that didn’t involve 2Pac & Biggie being potential victims to flatulence).
If any rapper in 2013 can effectively channel the groovy nature of Parliament Funkadelic, it’s Snoop Dogg. And the West Coast legend will do just that on 7 Days Of Funk, an upcoming collaborative project with Dam-Funk.
Snoop Dogg, now to be referred to as Snoopzilla, hit up Jimmy Kimmel Live! last night (Oct. 21) to perform along with Dam-Funk. The duo kicked a rendition of “Do My Thang” from their forthcoming 7 Days Of Funk collaborative album.
Snoop Dogg, aka Snoop Lion, has changed his name, again. The Long Beach rapper is dropping a funk album with Dam-Funk, and he has changed his name to Snoopzilla accordingly.
Snoop Lion (Snoop Dogg at times) informed us that he had two projects in the works at the BET Hip-Hop Awards. Today, we receive new track called “Faden Away” from an upcoming collaborative effort with Dam-Funk.
