Last night’s 20th anniversary Summer Jam was a success, even with Papoose’s successful attempt of Bogarting his way onto the stage. The line up of both old school and mostly new school acts made for a nice party atmosphere with stand out sets from Wu-Tang Clan, 2 Chainz and French Montana.Â
A$AP Ferg has showed hints of star potential on guest appearances and his standout track “Work.” These brief stints in the spotlight have fans eagerly anticipating the young rapper’s debut project Trap Lord. After multiple push backs, the mixtape finally receives a formal release date.

A$AP Rocky is winning. The Harlem rappers get his spoken word poetry on in a new adidas Basketball commercial featuring John Wall, Damian Lillard and Jrue Holiday.
It’s a given that A$AP Rocky is a fashion aficionado, just as likely to grace the pages of men’s fashion publication as he is those of a Hip-Hop magazine. The former is the case as the Harlem rapper is featured in a fashion spread in GQ magazine’s May 2013 issue.
The next rapper from the A$AP Mob clique not named A$AP Rocky to get a push is clearly A$AP Ferg. The Harlem rapper drops a video for “Persian Wine,” off the Mob’s Lord$ Never Worry mixtape that dropped last year.Â
Wiz Khalifa and A$AP Rocky are going on tour. The two rappers representing Pittsburgh and New York City, respectively, will be embarking on the “Under The Influence of Music” tour this summer.
