The Republican-controlled Nassau County Legislature enacted a ban on face masks in the county after a vote on Monday. Those in violation of the ban could receive a $1,000 fine and jail time.
Now people who religiously wear face masks on the train to keep from catching COVID might be upset that they can't protect their health because of a protest they may not even be a part of.
With COVID, the Flu and R.S.V. infections rising in the tristate, NY health officials want people to wear masks again.
Though many people have resumed pre-covid activities and customs the pandemic is still very much going, and Black and Latino people are apparently living as such.
Unfortunately this has been the scene all across America as many feel that mask and vaccine mandates aren't fair and they should be allowed to do as they please as if the pandemic is finally over. It isn't.
