The pro-police Blue Lives Matter group has announced a boycott of Ben and Jerry’s, this after the Vermont-based ice cream manufacturer displayed its support for the Black Lives Matter movement. The Blue Lives group suggested that supporting BLM is “dangerous” and was hypercritical of the company’s support to the point of hubris.
Ben and Jerry’s has been one of the few major American companies to use their platform to speak out on various issues. The ice cream and frozen yogurt manufacturer showed its support of the Black Lives Matter movement via a statement and took a dig at the All Lives Matter slogan as well.
Claud “Tex” McIver, an Atlanta attorney, is at the center of a bizarre shooting case that unfolded at the end of last month. McIver, concerned about recent Black Lives Matter protests, began carrying a firearm in his car which he says accidentally went off and killed his wife.
Black Lives Matter was founded as a way of bringing to light the ill treatment and unjust killing of Black people. So this Clown Lives Matter rally that’s going down is tacky and classless, and Twitter is dragging the concept for filth.
