Returning to the game was a little shaky for Chi-Ali, who hit the scene last year after serving a 12 year bid. But it seems like the Bronx rapper is finally getting his footing. The Native Tongue member drops a cinematic visual featuring two tracks, “Keep Her Close” and “Bout That Mess.”
The Fabulous Chi-Ali, that’s who he was billed as a teen rapper, was released from prison last year after a 12-year bed and promptly restarted his rap career. One of his biggest supporters has been Fat Joe, and the Bronx rappers drop a video for their collaborative cut “Games & Things.”
Chi-Ali served his time, and is back making music. The Native Tongue MC drops a new song called “Games & Things” featuring fellow Bronx rapper Fat Joe.
Today’s edition of MTV’s RapFix Live should a damn good one. Two BK MC’s, Talib Kweli and Skyzoo, are in the 1515 building as well as Native Tongue representative Chi-Ali and G.O.O.D. Music’s own Pusha T.
Skyzoo releases the official “Jansport Strings” remix, which features none other than the infamous, recently freed Chi-Ali. Quiet as kept, Chi-Ali has been released from prison after serving about 12 years of a 14-year sentence for second-degree murder.
