Atlanta R&B group TLC has enjoyed a resurgence in popularity lately thanks to a biopic, CrazySexyCool: The TLC Story, on VH1. Perhaps to capitalize off that bump in popularity, PETA teams with Chilli for a new ad campaign to “Boycott The Circus,” which finds the singer naked except for tiger body paint.
It seems the drama sparked by the VH1 biopic CrazySexyCool: The TLC Story will see no chill anytime soon. Recently, the former record executive Perri “Pebbles” Reid appeared on The Wendy Williams Show where she expressed her grievances on her portrayal in the film. Of course Chilli and T-Boz have responded.
Fans of TLC have been awaiting the upcoming biopic, CrazySexyCool: The TLC Story since it was announced earlier last year. Executive produced by surviving group members Tionne “T-Boz” Watkins and Rozonda “Chilli” Thomas, a quick trailer from the film hit the Internets earlier today (July 25).
