INNANETAPE

A smart rapper capitalizes off of the holiday season in any and all ways that he or she can. That’s just what Vic Mensa is doing with a new track called “Crazy.”

Vic Mensa builds on his momentum by dropping a visual for “YNSP” from his popular INNANETAPE mixtape. Here, the young Chicago MC reroutes the proverbial mainframe in a computerized world alongside his Save Money brethren.

Talent and upside alone have made young wordsmith Vic Mensa worthy of a listen or two. The only deterrent was the former Kid These Days frontman’s lack of solo material, but that changes today with the release of his long-awaited INNANETAPE.

We forewarned you to keep an eye out for up and comer Vic Mensa some time ago. Yesterday, the young Chicago native, and former frontman of Kids These Days, debuted “YNSP” from his forthcoming project INNANETAPE.

Yesterday, Vic Mensa of the Chicago-based SAVEMONEY collective offered to release a new track in exchange for 200 retweets. After the deed was done, fans received a melodic tune called “Time Is Money,” featuring MMG rapper Rockie Fresh.

Trust us when we say the Save Money clique out of Chicago dons a few special talents. Crew member and former Kids These Days frontman Vic Mensa returns with a smooth groove titled “Hollywood LA.”

Kids These Days represented the other side of Chicago’s Hip-Hop scene, but just as their star began to rise, the group disassembled earlier this year. Since then, the band’s MC Vic Mensa has been crafting his solo project INNANETAPE. Today, he debuts a visual for the mixtape’s second release, “Orange Soda.”
