Yesterday, Vic Mensa of the Chicago-based SAVEMONEY collective offered to release a new track in exchange for 200 retweets. After the deed was done, fans received a melodic tune called “Time Is Money,” featuring MMG rapper Rockie Fresh.

Like his recent drops, this will likely appear on Mensa’s forthcoming INNANETAPE project. The former Kids These Days co-frontman shares an introspective, Rich Dad, Poor Dad-like thought process on making money work for you, rather than simply earning a dollar.

He communicates these sentiments over captivation production by the winning combination of Boi-1da and The Maven Boys.

Mensa’s INNANETAPE will be the Chi-town clique’s first offering since Chance the Rapper’s critically acclaimed Acid Rap. Judging from “Time Is Money” and other worthy songs like “Hollywood LA” and “Orange Soda,” it sounds like the young wordsmith will deliver a quality piece of work.

Check out the thought provoking cut below.
