Large Professor
Main Source, the seminal Hip-Hop group led by mad scientist producer Large Professor is back. Large Pro is reuniting with K-Cut and producer Rashad Smith to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the group’s debut, Breaking Atoms, with a show in NYC.
In the final portion of a three-part interview with The Combat Jack Show, former Main Source front man Large Professor revealed that Nas held back on his lyrical assault on Jay-Z, “Ether.”
Leave it up to N.O.R.E. aka P.A.P.I. to be one of a select few rappers that can do a track with Pusha T and French Montana, only to turn around and do another record with the legendary Large Professor. Titled “Built Pyramids,” the cut is an ode to both artists’ native Queens.
Let’s take it back to the old school as Big Noyd, Large Professor and Kool G Rap drop this new record, “Naturally Born.”
In case you haven’t heard, N.O.R.E. is now officially going by P.A.P.I. The Queens rapper drops a new tune under his new moniker called “Tadow” featuring French Montana, Pusha T and 2 Chainz. He also has another record called “Built Pyramids” featuring the Large Professor.
Close your eyes and listen to this record and this song will take you directly to New York City, especially in the 1990’s. Nas, and featured guest Large Professor on the hook, come through with this record, “Loco-Motive,” off of Nas’ forthcoming tenth album, Life Is Good.
