March On Washington
Fox News’s Bill O’Reilly was critical of Wednesday’s (August 28) 50th anniversary of the March On Washington event in saying that no Republican speakers were invited. The conservative pundit admitted last night (August 29) on his program that he was wrong about his incorrect assumption.
The 50th anniversary of the 1963 “March On Washington” took place Wednesday (August 28) and despite wet weather conditions, the star-studded event drew thousands. With President Barack Obama delivering the anchoring speech, he and other guests delivered a message of togetherness and hope.
