A surprise new trailer for The Batman is a great late Christmas present.
According to Vanity Fair, production on Matt Reeves The Batman has come to screeching halt with word spreading that the film's star, Robert Pattinson has tested positive for the Coronavirus. Though Warner Bros. has confirmed that filming on the picture has temporarily paused due to COVID-19, they wouldn't say who tested positive on the production team.
While it's still weird to have a barely 200-pound Batman running around Gotham City and kicking ass all night long (even Michael Keaton had a dad bod going for him in the '80s), Pattison aka Edward Cullen's hand skills seemed on point as he pummeled what seemed to be a Joker disciple to the ground.
The DC Universe has moved on from Ben Affleck as the Batman. But Twilight actor Robert Pattinson will take up the cowl, and he at least has the jaw for the gig.
