One of the most important music ceremonies is back. BET Networks has announced the 2022 Soul Train Awards nominations with Deon Cole as host.

Best friends Tichina Arnold & Tisha Campbell hosted the 2021 Soul Train Awards at Harlem’s historic Apollo Theater, which aired on Sunday night (November 28).

It looks like Jay-Z and Beyoncé aren’t the only award winners in the Carter household.

Erykah Badu opened up her hosting duties at the 2017 Soul Train Awards by taking a knee in support of Colin Kaepernick's activism efforts.

The 2017 Soul Train Music Awards aired on BET on Sunday (Nov. 27), with Bruno Mars, Cardi B and SZA taking home the top honors of the ceremonies.


It’s been confirmed that Eryka Badu will once again be this year’s host of BET’s Soul Train Awards. Billboard was first to report that the “See You Next Lifetime” singer will be the awards ceremony MC for the third year in a row when it tapes at the Orleans Arena in Las Vegas on November 5th.

Erykah Badu is back. More specifically, the R&B and Soul chanteuse is returning as host of this years Soul Train Awards. 

The Soul Train Awards are quietly shaping up to be the standard of excellence when it comes to Hip-Hop/R&B award show performances and 2015 looks to uphold such a claim.

Say what you’d like about Chris Brown, his antics, or whatever else you can critique, but musically, he’s certainly a generational talent. The crooner and dance reminded fans and detractors alike of that fact at last night’s (November 30) 2014 Soul Train Music Awards, where he performed a medley of hits from throughout his career.

Eric Benét was joined on stage by Missy Elliott, Lil Kim, Da Brat, Total and Lady of Rage for a live rendition of the 1997 hit single “Not Tonight (Ladies Night Remix)” at the 2014 Soul Train Awards.

The Centric and BET Networks Soul Train Awards 2014 airs later this month but this past Friday, November 7, the annual event electrified the strip of Las Vegas with a round of nostalgic performances.
