Seeing The LOX rhyme at a high level in 2014 is certainly dope for fans of street rap. As the Jadakiss, Styles P, and Sheek Louch prepare their next full length LP, they deliver a visual for “Faded,” featuring Tyler Woods from The Trinity EP.

Sheek Louch, Styles P and Jadakiss are The LOX and after recently dropping an EP called Trinity, are going on tour. This new joint from the trio called “New York” should spark added interest in said endeavor, and for a full album. 

While fans anxiously await The LOX’s upcoming LP, the group’s members have been prepping separate solo bodies of work. The first will come from Styles P, whose new album is titled Phantom And The Ghost.

The streets shed thug tears late last year when The LOX dropped a surprise EP titled The Trinity. Months later, fans are anxiously awaiting the veteran rap collective’s latest move, which we now know is a namesake tour.

Here’s taking it back to the essence for you. Veteran collective The LOX channel Hip-Hop’s good old days on a new track titled “Boom Bap.”

Following their sit down with Hot 97, The LOX hit the stage at Webster Hall in New York City at their The Trinity EP release party. But the veteran trio were not alone, as they invited a list of notable hometown MCs to rock the crowd with them.

If this is a byproduct of the “Beyoncé effect,” we’ll take it. Last night, the LOX dropped a surprise EP called The Trinity on iTunes. 

The LOX return as a unit with a few freestyle on Drake’s Nothing Was The Same closer “Pound Cake” in tow. Of course, Styles P, Jadakiss, and Sheek Louch had to put their spin on the tune, which is newly titled “Hood Cake.”

The LOX have been tugging at fans’ heartstrings for some time with rumors of new material. Today, the trio makes due on their promise with a new track titled “Summer’s Too Hot.”

Both Jay-Z and Swizz Beatz are fans of late artist Jean-Michel Basquiat, with both having his work in their private collections. Yesterday, Swizzy revealed that the Roc Nation Sports founder purchased a painting of Baquiat from him, and he planned to donate the proceeds to charity.
