Janelle Monáe graced the stage on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon last night, where she paid tribute to late, great Rock legend Jimi Hendrix by performing his classic Axis: Bold as Love song, “Little Wing.” She was backed by house band The Roots and her guitarist Kellindo Parker, who gave a hell of a Hendrix impression.


Jimmy Fallon is surely about to get a pay raise. With its current host, Jay Leno, seemingly on the way out, Fallon will be taking over The Tonight Show. And yes, the Roots will be coming along.
