It is funny how things come full circle. After parting ways with Bad Boy in 2008, then spending the last few years building his brand on the Internet, Baltimore freestyle king Los is back on the Bad Boy roster.

Diddy also recently signed young talent in French Montana and Machine Gun Kelly. The Bad Boy Records CEO said he is looking to stay with the youth movement, announcing the signing in a recent interview with MTV News.

“It’s time for a whole new generation; it’s time for a whole new movement. So we got [Machine Gun Kelly], French Montana, Red Café; we got Cassie. We also have a new artist named Los that we signed. It’s official,” Diddy told MTV’s Sway Calloway.

The Baltimore native is no stranger to rocking with Mr. Ciroc. Los tried out for Diddy’s Making The Band series in 2002 but opted out after making the final cut. He would later spit a 10-minute freestyle audition for an amazed Diddy who signed the young rapper to his Bad Boy label in 2006.

A legal situation with Los’ then indie label would force the two parties to part ways in 2008 without him releasing an album. After spending the last few years dropping several acclaimed mixtapes, Carlos Coleman is back with Bad Boy.

“We’re trying to put that young, youthful energy out in the air and do it the only way that Bad Boy [Records] can do it,” Diddy added.
