One day after the Denver Broncos signed Peyton Manning as their new starting quarterback, The Denver Broncos have traded Quarterback Tim Tebow to the Jets for a fourth-round draft pick.
Tebow’s abrupt trade ends one of the most fascinating runs of any athlete in any team in recent memory. Drafted in 2010 as a “gamer” and a “winner” despite having shoddy mechanics and accuracy for a professional quarterback, he became the starter in the fifth game of the 2011 season. Tebow then shockingly led the Broncos to a series of improbable comeback victories including a win over his new team, the New York Jets.
Tebow, who is as popular and as transcendent as any athlete in sports is now in the biggest media circus in the entire world, New York City. If you thought Tebowmania was done,we haven’t seen anything yet.
