Air Force 1’s may not have the current clout of a pair of Jordans or LeBrons (yeah, Yeezy 2’s as well), but the right colorway or limited edition model is still unf-ckwittable. Enter the Nike Air Force 1 ‘Year Of The Dragon 2,’ a nice ode to the Chinese “Year of the Water Dragon.”
The model’s design is inspired by dragon boats and traditional “Chinese dragon iconography,” per a press release, as well as the 30th anniversary of the Air Force 1. The upper is red suede and made to look like dragon scales while the bright blue leather accents and outsole represent water. Other features on this low top include a gold Nike check, a knitted tongue and an extra set of red shoe laces.
