Chris Rock and Dave Chappelle are going on tour —if they can work out all of the details. For the second time in recent months, Rock spoke on the possibility of heading out on the road with Chappelle.

During an appearance on NBC’s TODAY show, Rock who was promoting the DVD release of his Madagascar 3 animated film, hinted at going on a trek with Chappelle.

“Me and Chappelle have been working out, trying to get some stuff together,” Rock said, before catching himself. “But we will see.”

At the top of the year, Rock revealed that he and the Washington D.C. native were having conversations about a tour inspired by the success of Jay-Z and Kanye West’s Watch the Throne collaboration. “I’ve been talking to Chappelle a lot. Been trying to get Chappelle to go on tour,” he said.

The hold up of the operation is likely the fact that Chappelle has been very reclusive in the years since he walked out on a $50 million contract to continue on his popular Comedy Central series. While he has done performances here and there over the years, fans have yet to see a full-fledged comedy revival, but here’s hoping it’s really in the works this time.
