For those wondering what brought about the colossal collaboration that was Drake’s “Forever” featuring Lil Wayne, Kanye West and Eminem, the song came about as a result of basketball player LeBron James’ upcoming biopic documentary More Than A Game.

Another cut surfaced in the form of Mary J. Blige when she released the music video for the track “Stronger.” Other notable mentions include the likes of T.I., Chris Brown and Rich Boy. Jay-Z has also reserved the track “History” for the soundtrack. The cut by Hov was originally rumored to be placed on The Blueprint III and was made as a celebration after it was announced that Barack Obama was the president of the United States.

The film surrounds James’ rise as a basketball player as it started alongside four of his teammates from Akron, Ohio as they chase their dream for a national high school championship. Along the way they deal with many trials and potentially lose it all as James begins to explode as a celebrity for better and for worse.

The music to the film should be hitting shelves September 29 as the film should hit theatres October 2.
