MC Hammer To Launch MMA Apparel Line
After starting a management company for mixed martial arts fighters in July, rapper MC Hammer is now launching a new clothing line for the sport’s fighters and fans.
Alchemist Management, the MMA promotion, marketing and management company owned by rapper MC Hammer, is launching a new clothing line called Alchemist Clothing.
The line is said to be a ‘colorful new lifestyle clothing line based on the premise that there are no limits to greatness when an individual has a committed focus, determination and dedication to accomplishing the goal at hand.’
Three-time Grammy award winner MC Hammer, who had a had in the design of the line, thinks he has found a perfect niche, saying in a statement,
“MMA is the fastest growing sport on the planet and its fans share a unique style and lifestyle. Alchemist Clothing captures that sense of style and will appeal to the vast demographic that is so passionate about MMA and style in general.”
The T-shirt line will consist of both men’s and women’s styles and designs with prices starting at $24.
Alchemist Clothing launches with a Signature Series shirt contract with veteran middleweight contender Nate “The Great” Marquardt. His official “walkout shirt” will debut tonight during UFC® Fight Night in Austin, Texas.
