Famed Occult Specialist Denies Jay-Z Illuminati Rumors

Jay-Z Part Of The Illuminati???
Many people have weighed in and drawn conclusions on the subject of Jay Z and his alleged ties to an occult lifestyle.

According to famed author and occult expert Mitch Horowitz, Jay Z is not an occult member, but an imagery genius.

In an interview posted on BigThink.com he praises Jay for being a "genius" saying,

“No [He's not an occultist] He's a genius who has a very shrewd eye for kind of oppositional imagery in our culture. He uses these things and he understands the magnetism of these symbols. You know, symbols like the pentagram and the eye in the pyramid or astrological symbols, they do have a certain magnetic power. They have a pull on us.”


Horowitz also states that due to conditioning people all over the world have been trained to respond internally to certain images and being an artist Jay Z is playing on that internal appeal.

“I think when you're using imagery that comes from the ancient world or that comes from Renaissance-era occultism, there is a little something going on there,” Horowitz continued. “We've never quite figured out a way to digest the image of the pentagram. Some people are really attracted to it, other people recoil from it.

Jay-Z understands this and when he uses these images in his videos, on his clothing, and in other places, you know, he realizes that we are people who think in images and that you can take an image and you get a response from people.”


In conclusion, Horowitz states that people can put up their stakes and stop the crusades because Jay Z isn't a part of any occult and if he is, he is not using imagery in his videos to spread “satanic” beliefs.

“I was asked at one point whether I thought Jay-Z was a Freemason because of some of the images that appear in his videos,” Horowitz said. “One of his videos also shows an image of Mao Tse Tung, I don't think he's an Agrarian Socialist. I don't think he's an occultist, but I do think he is probably a genius in terms of using imagery.”


Horowitz is the author of  "Occult America" and was awarded the 2010 PEN Oakland/Josephine Miles Award for literary excellence.

    The word occult comes from the Latin word occultus, referring to "knowledge of the hidden".

    The CHURCH'S gave it the name. Why? Because any information that they felt threatened the bible is occult. As in "hidden knowledge". That information is hidden. So people who can not think for themselves can continue to follow crooked preachers. The bibles written for religions such as Catholic, Protestant, etc are basically a guideline of what not to do (morals). There are so many versions of the bible written. Why is ur bible better than the next? Religious institutions picks what ever bible works for them. The end result is the same. We meet our maker when we die. It's ashame that the world has so many wars over RELIGION, money and politic. If folks would just think for themselves and not be so quick to judge the world would be a better place.

    2nd: The illumanti (mason's) built this very Nation's capital (DC) based on the fact that this nation is FREE to worship as they please. The Federal triangle for example is a great example of how the city was built on how the way the Mason's operate. Look it up. Masons such as G. Washington, Pierre L'Enfant, etc. Mason's follow astrology and believed in a higher supreme being and they use astrology as a way to get to this higher being. The difference between Religions that we follow and what Mason's "do" is that in religion u are converted, in Mosonry ur chosen.

    Religion has an actual name of their "God" or "Allah" or "Budha" or "Jesus", Masons don't. But they do believe there is a supreme higher being or architect of the universe. I mean come on people think for yourselves. Church is really just therapy to get ur mind right. Keep ur life straight. Build some morality in folks while teaching a bit of ancient history. And if u go every weekend then it's cuz maybe u need too in order to validate ur life. Bottom line is people are free to worship in any way they need too.

    The prerequisite for becoming a Mason is that u MUST believe in a higher power.

    3rd: Masons is not a secret society but a more rather a society that keeps secrets. Secrets of ancient history. Secrets that if released to the wrong person can cause catastophe for all mankind. Secret knowledge is p*****ed on to preserve ancient history or "wisdoms" thru Masons.

    The difference between Masons and Religion is that Religions *****ure salvation, believe in precise theology and convertnonbelievers. Mason's, however, make no promises of salvation, they have no specific theology and do not seek to convert u. Masons in essence are just refreshingly open minded.

    I can go on and on and on but I won't. Bottom line is people fear what they don't understand. Misunderstanding a culture's symbol's is a common root of predjudice.
