Rapper T.I.’s seventh studio album, No Mercy has been certified Gold by the RIAA, pushing in excess of 500,000 copies, despite the rapper’s incarceration.
The album sold almost 160,000 copies during its first week on shelves following its December 7 release, placing it at #4 on Billboard’s Top 200 chart.
The Atlanta rapper is currently serving a yearlong bid in an Arkansas prison for a September probation violation stemming from previous gun charges.
