Chicago Bears WR Sam Hurd Arrested On Drug Charges
Current Chicago Bears & Former Dallas Cowboys Wide Receiver, Sam Hurd has been arrested for attempting to obtain and distribute 500 Kilograms of Cocaine, and Half a Ton of Marijuana.
Hurd attempted to purchase the drugs from an undercover cop who was also working alongside an informant. Hurd was attempting to make the transactions out of North Texas, and sought to obtain Mexican Cellular phones to avert law enforcement.
Hurd was a 6 Year NFL Veteran, amassing 53 Catches for 739 Yards and 2 Touchdowns, for his career. Unfortunately, this was the biggest thing that's happened within that career, and Hurd can be looking at some serious time.
Despite his disappointing statistics, Hurd was a low-end millionaire (by NFL Standards), so resorting to selling drugs seems odd. Full Story Here
