Fascinating Hip-Hop fact, Santigold has writing credits on GZA/Genius of the Wu-Tang Clan’s third solo album, Beneath The Surface. We’re mentioning this because Justice (as he was renamed when gained “knowledge of self”) makes a cameo in the singer’s new video for “The Keepers.”

The visual is billed as “a green tinted social critique set to a highly dancable beat.” Blonde wigs, all green everything, the milkman taking an L and a drive by shooting means we’ll take her word for the social critique part (we’d rather watch TV and partake in social media than take into account what’s actually going down in our homes, get it?), but the Kurstin produced beat is definitely a winner.

“We’re the keepers, while we sleep in America, our house is burning down,” goes the chorus. The track is off the Roc Nation artist’s sophomore album, Master of My Make-Believe, which dropped this past April. Watch the Nabil Elderkin directed clip for “The Keepers” below.
