Someone at the Oxygen network has a problem with Black people. That’s the only way to explain how a show called All My Babies’ Mamas about Atlanta rapper Shawty Lo and his 10 baby mothers is allegedly making it onto television’s across America, and the world.

Shadow & Act reports that the one hit wonder (name another smash other than “Dey Know”…quick…thought so) and G-Unit rapper will star in the one off show. Thank heavens it’s not a series.

The project will center on the complicated lives of one man, his many women, and their many children.

Further… the series which comes from creative duo Liz Gateley and Tony DiSanto of DiGa Vision…

… will capture the highs and lows of this extreme ‘blended family’ that is anything but ordinary, while also showing the drama and the passion behind life’s most unexpected situations.

In addition, Cori Abraham, Senior Vice President of Development at Oxygen Media, says:

“‘All My Babies’ Mamas’ will be filled with outrageous and authentic over-the-top moments that our young, diverse female audience can tweet and gossip about.”

So all you need for a show on TV is something people will tweet and gossip about? Got it.

But hey, maybe this is all just an extremely early April Fool’s Joke? Nah, considering the way ratchet programming usually means big ratings, this is really happening. Also, there is a sizzle reel (basically a “sample” used to pitch a show to a network) of All My Babies’ Mamas (see below). Here we meet all the women Lo bedded and impregnated, and learn that the man born Carlos Walker, has 11 kids with 10 different mothers.

Let us know what you think of Oxygen’s new supposed special (there is no confirmation on the network’s official site) in the comments. Also, pray for all those Black people who will have to explain to their naive friends what is a Shawto Lo and why he clearly doesn’t use condoms.

No word on when All My Babies’ Mamas will premiere. We suggest the day after Detox drops.
