Queensbridge rapper Nas has partnered with Hennessy to become a spokesman in its second annual, award winning Wild Rabbit campaign.

The Wild Rabbit campaign highlights individuals who inspire and continue to pursue greatness. Some of the iconic names featured in the 2012 campaign included Manny Pacquiao, Erykah Badu and Martin Scorsese.

“Our ‘never stop, never settle’ mantra communicates a value at the core of who we are as a brand and resonates with our consumers: pursuing one’s potential comes from an inner drive continuously grow, continuously improve and seek greater levels of mastery,” said Rodney Williams, Senior Vice President, Möet Hennessy USA, in a statement. “Nas is not only a master in music, but is blazing new trails in film and philanthropy, among other passions.”

Nas had a great 2012, releasing the critically acclaimed Life Is Good album. He capped off the year with a New Year’s Ever performance at Radio City Music Hall and recently CNN named the “It Ain’t Hard To Tell” rapper the greatest lyricist of all time.

“This partnership with Hennessy has been almost two decades in the making,” said Nas in a press statement. “I am honored to be included in the group of previous partners Hennessy has selected over the years and hope this campaign will inspire others to ‘never stop, never settle.'”

To celebrate their new partnership, Nas will be performing at the R Bar in NYC tomorrow (January 15) evening. The concert will be streamed via Livestream and made available for download via Hennessy’s Facebook page.

Nas’ only recent hiccup was a visit to the hospital for vertigo. He was released and sent a message to fans via his Twitter that he was feeling fine and apologized for missing a date with Live With Kelly & Michael. “Peace y’all. I’m out of the ER & doin alright. I’m on bed rest for a few. Apologies to everyone @ Live w/ Kelly & Michael. I’ll make it up,” he tweeted.
