Uncle Luke originally threw down the gauntlet for Miami artists to stand up to Lil Wayne’s statements about the Miami Heat. Now, Luke’s protege Pitbull is the first to answer the call in “Welcome To Dade County.”

One of the most commercially successful rappers in the Miami area goes at Lil Wayne over Baauer’s #1 hit single, “Harlem Shake,” after the YMCMB rapper infamously threw shots towards the Heat at NBA All-Star Weekend.

Pitbull was very clear about who he was referring to in this diss record towards the end of the song with a monologue directed at Tunechi. “I had to do this for my city, dog. It’s something that I love so deeply. I don’t want to be 305 Miami-Dade County, I am 305 Miami-Dade County,” stated Pitbull. “When we show love to those that get their city destroyed by a hurricane and then they come down here and,” the platinum artist stated before finishing his song in Spanish.
