Many were skeptical when word got out that former That ’70s Show actor Ashton Kutcher would play the role of late Apple CEO Steve Jobs in a forthcoming biopic. Today, we receive the first look at what to expect from Jobs via the official trailer.

From the looks of it, viewers can expect a pretty good film. With Joshua Michael Stern at the helm as director, Jobs details the tech extraordinaire’s life from 1971 to 2000. During that time, Jobs went from college dropout to one of the greatest visionaries and entrepreneurs of the 20th century.

Josh Gad plays Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak, and Dermot Mulroney, James Woods, Ron Eldard, and Matthew Modine play a solid supporting cast.

Macklemore & Ryan Lewis’ “Can’t Hold Us” serves as the soundtrack in the visual. Check off another win for those guys.

Jobs died October 5, 2011 due to complications from pancreatic cancer.
