Yo Gotti is not a member of Grand Hustle, he’s creating his own lane. Gotti spoke to Hip-Hop Wired and cleared up reports that he joined T.I.’s growing Hustle Gang family.
Gotti tells us that T.I.’s comments about him were misunderstood. “I’m signed to CMG which is my label, which is a partnership with Epic,” he says. Even though he’s not officially with GH, he’s “most definitely,” still down with Tip. “That’s like big brother.”
The two are so close in fact that Tip will be featured on Gotti’s forthcoming I Am release (although he may want to clear that title with Will.i.am first) due out in November. “Me and Tip like two, three records in,” he added naming other collaborators. “I got Weezy on there, Jeezy, Y.G., Sean Kingston…I got a few cats on there.”
