Lil’ Kim hasn’t dropped an album in over eight years but since Miley Cyrus recently honored her with a Halloween mammogram, she’s going to unearth her skills and get back to it.

Her new free album/mixtape was slated to release today (Oct. 31) but it was recently pushed back for reasons that are still a little fuzzy.

Still, when the iron is hot you have to strike it and “Dead Gal Walking” finds Kim picking up right where The Naked Truth’s first single, “Lighters Up” left off. Adopting the Jamaican dialect which she pulls off so well, (hailing from Brooklyn all) the song embodies a dancehall vibe with slick rhymes packed in the middle.

There’s the obligatory B.I.G. homage not to mention some sly jabs at female competition. Kim has been proven to use her imagination over the years and this sounds like nothing currently lighting up the airwaves.

What’s your thoughts on the Queen Bee’s latest entry in rap? Stream the song below (courtesy of Kim herself) and check out the artwork of what could have been on the other side.

Maybe she’ll add some turkeys and a cornucopia for the re-up? Nah?
