Take a trip into the mind of Philadelphia up and comer Ryshon Jones, who delivered Hope Is A Dangerous Thing. The title -- inspired by an episode of Orange Is The New Black -- alone infers that the topic matter and overall tone will be dark and thoughtful.
Jones gave listeners a sign of things to come by releasing "Current," "Three Kay," "Poisoned Food For Thought," and "American Dreamless" as leading singles. The full body of work dons 15 tracks, and features guest appearances by Adam Lee, Nia Keturah, Benny Love, Faylin, Happyendless and poetry from Ivajay.
Hope Is A Dangerous Thing, which Jones refers to as a ".zip" rather than a mixtape, can be streamed in it's entirety below. There's also a link to a .zip containing the project and a digital look/poetry book.
