Travi$ Scott was once a YouTube sensation, but as his career’s naturally progressed and his fan base has grown, he’s had an opportunity to see the world. That’s the basis of the G.O.O.D. Music/Hustle Gang artist’s new Houston to Osaka documentary.

Directed by Uzi of ILLROOTS, the flick details Scott’s first-ever trip to Japan. Fans get a look at the rapper experiencing the natural culture shock that comes with travelling abroad, as well as his dealings with local artists like rapper Verbal. Some may recall the Japanese MC’s work with Kanye West as part of Teriyaki Boyz.

Later in the clip, Scott gives some indication of what his proper debut LP will bring. “You can expect me not trying to be a friendly a** n***a,” Scott said, who described the music as new age. “And I won’t make this album for the radio, I’m making it for the people.”

Peep more in Houston to Osaka below. And hey, you may even hear some dope unreleased material in the process.
