Michael Jackson Song “Love Never Feels So Good” Debuts At iHeartRadio Awards
Michael Jackson and his musical legacy lives on while many worldwide still mourn the loss of the King Of Pop. However, an unreleased track from the vaults made its debut last night last night featuring assistance from one of Jackson’s understudies that will surely delight fans.
At the iHeartRadio Music Awards in Los Angeles on Thursday, Epic Records chairman and CEO executive L.A. Reid introduced a musical tribute to Jackson, calling him the “greatest artist in popular music history.”
Reid has been curating a library of Jackson’s recordings, selecting the track “Love Never Felt So Good” as one of the singles for the upcoming XSCAPE album debuting later this month. Usher, who considered Jackson a heavy influence, took the reigns of performing a dance routine to the disco-flavored track and mimicked the great entertainer’s moves effortlessly.
Usher’s appearance at the show was a surprise, and served as a nice appetizer for those awaiting Jackson’s posthumous release. “Love Never Felt So Good” was originally recorded in 1983, and was co-written by Jackson and Paul Anka. The single is available on iTunes , Amazon, and other digital outlets and will appear on XSCAPE which drops on May 13.
UPDATE: A duet version featuring Justin Timberlake has been released as well, this after the crooner teased he was working on the XSCAPE project on Instagram on Thursday.
