Hot 97’s Peter Rosenberg Apologizes To Chuck D [Video]
Peter Rosenberg took to his radio segment “The Realness” to apologize to legendary Hip-Hop vet, Public Enemy’s Chuck D.
Earlier this morning (July 8), Rosenberg talked over the air waves about the time his mom took him to see Spike Lee’s Do The Right Thing. He went on to explain the way he felt the first time he heard Public Enemy’s “Fight The Power.”
“That wasn’t the first time I heard Public Enemy, but that was the first time Chuck D’s voice truly affected me,” began Rosenberg. “So to think that 25 years later I would have a voice in this culture that some people would actually listen to a little bit is truly a blessing. Something I’m very thankful for. To have used that voice in any way to show what was perceived as public disrespect to the great Chuck D is something that I am truly regretful for.”
Jay Electronica called it. Hear the whole thing in the clip below.
