Nipsey Hussle Arrested In Los Angeles, Will Still Perform At Made In America
Crenshaw rapper Nipsey Hussle was arrested last night (Aug. 29) after a store he was in was raided by authorities last night in Hyde Park, Ca.
Reports NBC Los Angeles:
Emmias Ashghedom, known by his stage name Nipsey Hussle, was arrested at Slauson Avenue Clothing on the 3400 block of West Slauson Avenue around 11:30 p.m.
According to the LAPD, officers had arrived at the location because of a probation complaint search. The man suspected of violating probation was taken into custody, as was Nipsey Hussle.
Nipsey Hussle was booked on charges of obstructing a peace officer, LAPD Lt. Julius Guay said.
It seems like Nip sticking up for his mans’n’em at his Slauson Avenue Store (the rapper also has a Fat Burger in his portfolio). got him in trouble.
The “Hussle In The House” rapper is scheduled to perform at the Made In America Festival in Los Angeles at Grand Park on Sunday, August 31, at 4:45pm on the Dylan Stage.
No word on if this legal hiccup will stop him from performing. Nipsey Hussle has been released and tweeted that he will still be performing as scheduled.
