Lark Voorhies Ruins Childhood Dreams With Struggle Makeup [Photos]
Lark Voorhies, who starred on the popular Saved By The Bell series as Lisa Turtle, has mostly fallen from the limelight once the show ended in 1993. Recent photos of Voorhies sprung up over the Labor Day weekend in Los Angeles, and featured the actress sporting some rather interesting makeup.
Voorhies, 40, was at the Hollywood Farmer’s Market last Sunday, a day before Lifetime aired its The Unauthorized Saved By The Bell Story movie. Voorhies, one of television’s most stunning beauties, wore heavily applied blush, eye shadow and an old-school grandma wig. However, there were photos the next day that showed Voorhies looking more like herself.
Perhaps Voorhies was wearing a disguise, but this isn’t the first time the deeply religious Jehovah’s Witness has been caught in public with the cosmetic struggle.
On a more serious note, her mother did note that Voorhies was suffering with mental issues. Voorhies has vehemently denied the charge, although her actions in interviews defending herself didn’t aid in clearing her name. Former co-star and fellow struggle boater Dustin Diamond also quipped in the recent times that Voorhies was coping with some issues.
Check out some pages of Voorhies in her struggle makeup among various other shots. Let us know if we’ve missed any key moments in the comments.
