Chris Pratt turned heads by dressing as Star Wars character Princess Leia on a recent episode of Saturday Night Live. Thankfully, he wasn’t wearing a bikini while chained to Jabba The Hut.
Pratt has some rather large heels to fill though, as many a comedic actor has dressed in drag for the sake of a good laugh. Keep clicking to see the guys who dared to get in touch with their feminine sides on the big and small screens.

Martin Lawrence as Sheneneh Jenkins: Armed with dookie braids, doorknocker earrings and an ample (fake) derrier, Sheneneh Jenkins had attitude to spare. She may not have invented the phrase, “Oh no you didn’t,” but she executed it to perfection on episodes of “Martin.”
Tyler Perry as Madea: Turns out Big Mama is actually a big entrepreneur. In addition to writing and directing several films featuring the Madea character, Perry also flips the script to appear in the starring role.
Flip Wilson as Geraldine Jones: The devil made him do it. As part of his self-titled variety show, Flip Wilson turned the act of comedic cross-dressing on its ear and generated plenty of deep laughs in the process.
Robin Williams as Mrs. Doubtfire: Before the phrase “baby mama drama” became passé Robin Williams was about that life. In the role of a trouble dad, Daniel Hillard donned a prosthetic mask and a fat suit to turn himself into Mrs. Doubtfire just to see his children.
Wesley Snipes as Noxeema: Given the tax trouble Snipes would later encounter with the IRS, let’s just hope dressing in drag for 1995’s Too Wong Foo: Thanks For Everything, Julie Numar paid well.
Eddie Murphy as Rasputia and Mama Klump: You don’t become one of the greatest comedians ever by playing it safe. Eddie Murphy took turns as both Rasputia in Norbit and Mama Klump in The Nutty Professor series.
John Travolta as Edna Turnblad: John Travolta probably didn’t do anything to help “those rumors” by playing the role of Edna Turnblad in 2007’s Hairspray. The less said about all of the above the better.
Adam Sandler as Jill Sadelstein: Adam Sandler locked down the role of both Jack and Jill Sadler for the 2011 movie Jack & Jill. It was double the effort for an equally bad film.
Ving Rhames as Holiday Heart: As if anyone would’ve dared step to Rhames about the decision to play a gay drag queen befriending a single mother and her daughter.
Sean and Marlon Wayans as Brittney Wilson and Tiffany Wilson: Sean and Marlon in White Chicks was wrong on so many levels. But don’t act like this movie hasn’t graced your Netflix queue at least once.
Jamie Foxx as Wanda: Prior to his award-winning performance in Ray, Foxx was “red to go” while portraying Wanda on “In Living Color.”
