Couple the aforementioned with Morgan’s ongoing speech and cognitive therapy, and his stand-up comedy career looks pretty bleak from where we’re standing. Still, there’s hope, right?
When asked if the actor will ever get back to work following the car crash, his lawyer Benedict Morelli had nothing promising to say. “The jury’s still out,” he told PageSix. “The doctors don’t know the answer. I don’t know the answer.”
Morgan, who reportedly may have to undergo even more surgery in the future, has aleady lost out on a number of gigs, including a TV series and a movie, according to Morelli.
But the comic is fighting for his life and doing everything in his power to return to the scene. “I love you all,” he said. “I’m fighting hard every day to get back.”
